The Petersburger or Salon Style of hanging is intended to impress viewers by the large number of assembled works on one wall.

The FRANKFURTER HÄNGUNG revokes this opulence with more than 25 international contemporary artists with diverse practices. It arose from a desire to bring together artists, curators who have previously worked with the gallery, who where than asked to extend the show´s invitation to fellow artists now exhibiting here for the first time.

Art works are ranging from oil paintings to gouache to drawings, from abstractions with Armenian lavash, over Japanese hand made paper to photography.
